PAU D'ARCO TEA The herb is derived from the inner bark of the Pau d'Arco tree which grows abundantly in the rain forests of South America. Our product is imported directly from the traditional sources in Brazil. The species of the bark is "Tabebuia Avellanedae/Impetiginosa". The texture of the inner bark (phloem) is fine ground. Through our research and investigations we feel that we offer the highest quality product that is available anywhere in the world. Our Pau d'Arco product is laboratory tested for contaminates and chemicals by the botanical company before shipment. The Brazilian government agency, IBAMA, requires a certificate of authenticy and inspects and regulates all botanical products exported from that country.
